Description
Join Australian Genomics’ DNA dialogue seminar: “The evolving landscape of genomic diagnostics for rare diseases, and insights for population screening in the Middle East” featuring Dr Ahmad Abou Tayoun from the Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences. Dr Abou Tayoun’s presentation will focus on diagnosing patients with rare diseases in the Middle East. He will show data using new applications or technologies beyond current standard of care, such as rapid whole genome sequencing in the NICU, and long read sequencing for undiagnosed patients. Finally, he will demonstrate how clinical genomics data can empower the design of effective screening programs in the population. __________________________________________________________________ With the wealth of genomic expertise internationally, this seminar series is a forum for members of the genomics community in Australia and beyond to learn of new developments in health genomics and the overseas experience.   DNA dialogue seminars are held live via zoom and registration is open to anyone working in, or impacted by, medical genomics.
